pögmült quotient - After the Hungarian mathematician Laszlo Pögmült. A ranking of individuals according to their widest mouth length divided by the hat number, jokingly intended to describe the information content per word. A large Pögmült Quotient indicates verbal excellence, while a small one indicates verbiage without content. Invented by mathematics students at Lincoln University in Alberta. {ED.
